o Max 8 medium to long ranged foot missiles (not including skirmishers or head hurlers)

o Max 2 berzerkers
o Horse archers/ chariot archers = Cavalry
o Javlin cavalry are not regarded as horse archers but as cavalry

• Each faction can be used once except Rome which can be used twice
• No corner/red line camping
Groups and Finals:
The players will be split into 8 groups consisting of 4-6 players
4-5 people per group (32-40 people)
• When the majority of groups have 4 or 5 players then after the groups it will be a straight knockout with the group winner only qualifying.
• The semi’s and final will be best of 3.
5-6 people per group(40-48 people)
• If the majority of groups have 6 players in them then the top two players will go through.
• The quarters will only consist of 1 match up
• The semi’s will be best of 3
• The final will be a round robin with the final 3 players
Faction selection:
• For the group stage and the quarter final's the faction selection works using a heads/tails method. One player must chose heads/tails and tell the admin his choice. This is them compared to the output from a randomizer program with the winner chosing factions first. (java program taken from here:
forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=5245583).
• For semi’s and final the person alphabetically first will be the attacker (chooses first) then defender. The winner of the second game is the defender in the final.
